Director Of Compliance

To be a successful Director of Compliance you must become able to do the following always:

  • Provide direct supervision and support of supervisees utilizing the Company’s model for supervision, Supervision for Success.
  • Oversee Corporate Compliance Program to assist in maintaining compliance with laws, regulations, and policies that govern its conduct. Advise managers on organizational policy matters and regulatory compliance.
  • Partake and/or complete special projects as requested dependent on company and/or contract needs.
  • Oversight of company risk management including assessment and coordination of all prevention and follow up actions. Develop risk management strategies, conduct impact assessments, and oversee the implementation of risk mitigation measures, ensuring that compliance risks are managed proactively. Chair the Environment of Care Committee.
  • Lead accreditation survey preparation, training, organization, and communication. Remain knowledgeable and up to date on standards to ensure the continuing conformance for quality programing and business functions.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure compliance initiatives are integrated into business processes, conduct training sessions, and report on the effectiveness of compliance efforts to senior management.
  • Oversee Records Department functionality and success. Provide backup to program attorney for court portal compliance.
  • Follow Company Policy and Procedure and operate according to the Company’s Program Practice Guidelines.

To qualify for this job, you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in quality improvement, non-profit management, public administration, business, social work, child welfare, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Demonstrate 5 years successful work-related experience in child welfare, quality management, social work, or business.
  • Demonstrate success in managing projects and process improvement programs.
  • 21 years of age. Must pass a background check, fingerprinting, and physical and drug screening.
  • Maintain company-required training.
  • Physical working requirements - Ability to travel, driving company or personal vehicle including at night. Ability to do occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Able to walk stairs. Ability to work flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends. Employees are subject to outside environmental conditions occasionally, inside conditions frequently, with protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature change.
