Director Of First Impressions

Are you a friendly, organised, and empathetic self-starter? Forte School of Music in Dee Why is looking for a vibrant receptionist who will be the Director of First Impressions for our teachers, students, and their families. This role is ideal for someone who loves to create a welcoming and supportive environment and thrives in a dynamic setting.

You’ll be stepping into the shoes of a truly wonderful team member, Julie, who has been an integral part of our Forte family. Julie is stepping down at the end of January to support her parents, but she will be available to train and guide you throughout January to ensure a smooth transition as we prepare for the new school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet students, parents, and teachers warmly, ensuring they feel valued and cared for.
• Provide essential administrative support to our team of music teachers, helping them focus on delivering amazing lessons.
• Build relationships with parents (mostly mums), keeping them informed and ensuring a smooth experience for their children.
• Handle scheduling, lesson inquiries, and general office tasks with efficiency.
• Maintain a positive and organised workspace, making Forte a place everyone looks forward to visiting.
• Ensuring the place looks great and is clean and tidy for whenever we have students in.

What We’re Looking For:

• A friendly, patient, and approachable personality—someone who naturally supports and cares for others.
• Strong communication skills, both in-person and on the phone.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks with ease and stay calm under pressure.
• A great sense of organisation and attention to detail.
• Local knowledge of the Dee Why area is a plus, as living nearby would be beneficial.
• Someone who appreciates the benefits of learning music, so if you or your children have learned music, this is a great advantage.
• An advantage would be someone with some social media posting experience.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
