Job Description
As the Director, you will:
- Lead and grow a high-performing semiconductor engineering team across Espoo and Oulu
- Drive the ASIC development, with some SW and Sensor integration for ASIC products for MEMS-based sensors
- Collaborate closely on product development with international teams, including our headquarters in Germany
- Drive hiring activities, mentor team members, and foster a culture of innovation and excellence
- Provide strategic and technical leadership, as well as technical and methodological guidance, to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery
Qualifications
- A strong academic background in STEM and deep understanding of IC product development
- Proven experience leading engineering teams in a global, cross-functional environment
- A successful proven track record of delivering complex semiconductor products
- A well-established network within Finland’s semiconductor ecosystem
- Education: B.Sc., M.Sc., or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Languages: Fluent in English (C1); Finnish and German are a plus
