Day to Day

We are seeking an experienced and agile Director of Sales to join our company. As the Director of Sales, you will be accountable for guiding our national sales team and driving revenue growth by setting and achieving long-term sales goals while fostering a culture of empathy, motivation, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

Leadership and Strategy: Provide strong leadership and guidance to the national sales team, setting clear expectations and fostering a high-performance culture. Collaborate with senior management to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.

Inspire and Motivate National Account Managers: Inspire and motivate the national account managers to achieve their sales targets and deliver exceptional results. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation, creativity, and growth.

Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, leaders and strategic partners. Act as a point of escalation for client issues, working closely with the national account managers to resolve conflicts and maintain positive relationships.

Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Utilize data-driven insights to make informed choices and enhance sales strategies. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.

5. Empathy and Customer-Centric Approach: Instill a customer-centric mindset within the team, emphasizing the importance of recognizing customer needs and providing exceptional service. Demonstrate empathy, promoting a deep understanding of customers' pain points and obstacles to drive customer loyalty and retention.

Skills/Competencies

10+ years of sales experience with 5+ years of proven track record of success as a Director of Sales, motivating high-performing teams and achieving significant sales growth.
Effective in motivating and inspiring a diverse team with a focus on building and maintaining relationships.
Demonstrates outstanding communication and presentation aptitude, both verbal and written.
Analytical mindset, effective in leveraging data and insights to make informed choices to help achieve long-term sales goals.
Strong business acumen and a strategic mindset to contribute to overall company growth.
Willingness to travel as needed to assist the team and attend industry events. Up to 50% travel expected
The candidate must be fluent in Dutch and English.

Salary Range Transparency

Amsterdam 80,000 - 112,000 EUR per year

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
