Role Description:
As a Support Worker in our Glenroy Supported Independent Living (SIL) house, you will:

• Providing in-home support, social support, and transportation to medical appointments and recreational activities.
• Supporting participants with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
• Assisting with personal care, light domestic duties, and meal preparation.
• Encouraging participants to achieve their goals, develop new skills, and maintain their independence.
• Ensuring participant safety and well-being at all times.

What You’ll Need:
To be considered for this role, applicants must have or be willing to provide:

• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working with Children Check
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
• Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
• Relevant Qualifications
• Resume
• COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate (Three doses) and Flu Shot Certificate.
• Vehicle Registration and Comprehensive Insurance Certificate (for personal vehicle use).
• Visa status
• Passport and Driver’s Licence – Current and valid.
• International Police Check

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00 – $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Licence/Certification:

• First Aid Certification (Preferred)
• Working with Children Check (Preferred)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (Preferred)
• National Police Certificate (Preferred)
• Driver Licence (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

• Australia (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
