Support Worker - (Burpengary & Deception Bay)

This is a rewarding opportunity for empathetic disability support workers to assist the individuals we support in their journey to reach their full potential. We are looking for experienced support workers to work in our Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes. The people we support have various intellectual, physical and in some cases challenging behaviours.

We are offering the right candidate permanent part-time employment opportunities.

Here at UDC we will support your personal development and provide training focussing on maximising client outcomes and a quality service.

Duties may include personal care, manual handling/hoisting, domestic duties, meal preparation, medical assistance in an unplanned or emergency situation. Staff induction, ongoing service training and support will be provided.



Mandatory Requirements:

• Disability Sector experience or lived experience providing disability support
• Current driver’s license and registered vehicle
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Computer literacy skills and smart phone
