Job Description

Your new role
As our new Structural Discipline Lead you will join the International Project Consultancy department (IPC) to strengthen our project management offering with deep technical expertise, discipline leadership, and driving tangible sustainability outcomes. This is a client-facing role and you will be responsible internally and to our clients for the quality, delivery and performance of your discipline.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Own the delivery and performance of your discipline. You will be responsible to your client and within Ramboll for successful delivery.
- Represent Ramboll and the IPC department in front of clients — be the face of your discipline and our offering.
- Resource your discipline on projects from expertise across Ramboll. Ensure the right people and expertise are allocated and take responsibility successful delivery.
- Stay up to date with best practices and innovation within your discipline. Become known as a subject matter expert.
- Proactively engage with clients: build relationships, identify opportunities and win work that at minimum covers your role.
- Be a champion for sustainable development, finding opportunities beyond the brief to improve our projects and working with clients for implementation.
- Build your internal and external network. Collaborate closely with other disciplines and project management to ensure integrated project delivery.

You will join of our IPC Department based at our head office in Copenhagen, to be a part of a diverse group of professionals with varied backgrounds and shared ambition. We are part of Ramboll’s global Buildings division, comprising more than 4,000 colleagues worldwide.
About You

The ideal candidate is a technically strong, client-oriented leader Structural disciplines. Someone who knows the latest innovations within Structural Engineering, is comfortable “talking shop” with clients, leading discipline teams, and shaping projects that deliver measurable value and sustainable impact.
These Include
- Minimum 10 years’ experience. 5 years within Structural Engineering, and at least 5 years in a role where you were responsible for delivering the discipline and managing a team.
- Experience leading large project teams and/or coordinating across multiple projects, and the integration of the Structural Engineering with others in multidisciplinary environments.
- Confident working directly with clients.
- Experience in building design and construction in the industry sector (e.g. buildings for logistics, utilities, manufacturing, energy transition, heat & power)
- Site or construction experience is advantageous but not essential.
- You are structured, organised and familiar with project management essentials, and your technical expertise must relate to building projects (though industrial sector experience is a plus).
- You are familiar with working on a multidisciplinary engineering office.
