Position OverviewThe Dishwasher/Busser is a vital part of the Fluke – A Dining Experience at Blackbush team, ensuring the smooth flow of service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency throughout the restaurant.

Schedule & Commitment
Fluke – A Dining Experience at Blackbush operates a single dinner service Thursday through Sunday from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Team members should expect additional hours outside of these service times for setup, prep, breakdown, cleaning, and team coordination. As a small, collaborative operation, flexibility and reliability are essential — everyone plays a role in creating an exceptional dining experience from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of dish area, kitchen, and shared spaces.
• Assist with clearing tables, resetting for new guests, and polishing cutlery and glassware.
• Support the kitchen team by organizing clean dishware and assisting with prep when needed.
• Help with delivering plates to tables during service and assisting in plating where appropriate.
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-focused with a positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed.
• Prior experience in dishwashing or bussing is an asset but not required.
• Must have Responsible Beverage Server Program certificate.
• FoodSafe certificate is considered an asset but not required.

Hourly Wage: $20/hr + Tips

Hours: 28-40 hours per week
