Mulrines is a name that has stood the test of time a proud local employer with deep roots in the community. We are now recruiting a Dispatch Administrator to join our team at our Ballybofey site.

The Role

The Dispatch Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative support within a fast-paced dispatch office, ensuring the efficient day to day operation of transport planning and warehousing activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Generating daily and weekly KPI reports
  • Raising purchase orders on internal system ensuring accuracy in all details
  • General administrative support for both transport planning and warehousing
  • Provide cover for colleagues to support smooth day-to-day operations
  • Ensure compliance with transport, health, safety and internal procedures
  • Any other duties as required by Management

Qualifications and skill Requirements:

  • Experience in dispatch or transport administration (desirable)
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office

Ability to multitask, prioritise workloads and remain calm under pressure

Hours of Work

  • Monday to Friday 08.30am – 5.00pm

About The Role

The Dispatch Administrator provides essential administrative support to the dispatch operation, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient coordination of transport and warehousing activities. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment.

P Mulrine & Sons was established in 1919. Originally located just off Main Street Ballybofey with a workforce of 4 people, the company specialised in the production and distribution of soft drinks and bottled beer.

In 1971 P Mulrines & Sons Sales was established, and a new plant was opened on the Donegal Road which offered greater opportunities to the local people for employment with numbers increasing to around 80 people at the site

With the period of growth that followed our first Tetra Pak fillers were introduced in 1982.

An independent fourth generation family business the Company has grown steadily over the years. As a family business we are very proud of our local heritage and of the loyal workforce we have generated here in Ballybofey and the surrounding area, currently employing over 250 people across all sites.
