Description:
Civilmart are seeking an organised and proactive Transport Dispatch Coordinator to commence at our Shepparton precast manufacturing facility on a permanent fulltime basis.
This position will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the provision of products to ensure their timely distribution.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in the manufacturing or construction industry and possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Call customers to coordinate delivery times
- Coordinate transport carriers and couriers
- Book freight and plan delivery allocations
- Raise orders for transport and verify invoices charges
- Coordinate dispatch forklift operators in daily yard activities
- Obtain freight quotes when required
- Issue picking sheets to forklift drivers and complete invoices
- Coordinate all incoming materials and goods to branches
- Manage site inventory and stocktake
- Assist the customer service team as required
- Assist in the physical loading and unloading of trucks
- Experience working in the manufacturing/industrial industry
- Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills
- Forklift Licence (desirable)
- Qualifications in transport, logistics or supply chain (desirable)
- Strong focus and awareness of safety procedures and protocols
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol assessment
