Job Posting: Dispatch Coordinator
Position: Full-Time
Location: Vaughan, ON
We are seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to support our growing logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily dispatch activities for company drivers and owner-operators.
- Assign loads, monitor routes, and ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.
- Track and update load status in dispatch software.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal departments.
- Handle documentation such as bills of lading, trip sheets, and compliance records.
- Provide support in resolving day-to-day operational issues.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of dispatch or logistics coordination experience.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask under pressure.
- Proficiency with dispatch or transportation management systems (TMS).
- Knowledge of North American trucking lanes and regulations is an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
Work Location: In person
