Job Summary:

The Dispatch Supervisor oversees the timely and accurate dispatch of finished goods from the manufacturing unit to customers or distribution centers. The role ensures proper coordination between production, warehouse, logistics, and sales teams to maintain smooth outbound operations, optimize transportation, and meet customer delivery requirements efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:Dispatch Planning & Coordination

• Plan daily dispatch schedules based on customer orders, production output, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with the production, warehouse, and sales teams to ensure order readiness and accuracy.
• Allocate vehicles based on load requirements, delivery routes, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure proper documentation — invoices, delivery challans, e-way bills, and shipping labels.

Operations Management

• Supervise loading and unloading activities to ensure correct quantities and prevent damage.
• Verify packaging and labeling standards are met before dispatch.
• Track vehicle movements and monitor dispatch timelines.
• Maintain proper stock reconciliation between warehouse and dispatch records.

Team Supervision

• Manage and guide dispatch staff, loaders, and drivers.
• Ensure compliance with safety and housekeeping standards in the dispatch area.
• Conduct daily briefings and assign tasks to dispatch personnel.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain dispatch logs, delivery registers, and transport documents.
• Coordinate with transporters for vehicle availability and cost negotiation.
• Generate daily/weekly dispatch reports and submit them to management.
• Record and resolve discrepancies in shipments or delivery schedules.

Compliance & Quality

• Ensure dispatch operations comply with company policies, safety guidelines, and statutory requirements.
• Work with quality and audit teams to ensure traceability and documentation integrity.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Good knowledge of dispatch, logistics, and inventory management.
• Familiar with ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.).
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability under pressure.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Understanding of transportation laws and documentation (e-way bill, LR, invoice, etc.).

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, or warehouse supervision in a manufacturing setup.
• Knowledge of lean logistics or inventory control techniques preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
