After-Hours Dispatcher (Freight / Trucking Industry)

We are looking for a reliable and experienced After-Hours Dispatcher to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and skilled at tracking and managing shipments while providing excellent communication to both drivers and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track and trace all active shipments after regular business hours
• Monitor drivers’ progress and ensure on-time delivery
• Follow up with drivers regularly to resolve issues or delays
• Provide timely shipment updates to customers and internal teams
• Handle urgent requests, escalations, or service issues professionally
• Utilize load boards and dispatch platforms to manage shipments effectively

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a dispatcher in trucking, freight brokerage, or logistics
• Strong knowledge of Expert Board, Loadlink, Dispatch Board, and DAT
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Tech-savvy, with strong data entry and reporting skills
• Must be dependable and comfortable working independently during after-hours shifts

Shift & Schedule:

• After-hours coverage (evenings, nights, weekends as required)
• Flexibility to work varying schedules a plus
