Are you an experienced professional in the electrical distribution industry, ready to lead and inspire a skilled team? Join us as the Distribution Supervisor at our Nelson Depot and play a vital role in organising and supervising electrical distribution services, including control room operations, overhead line and underground cable construction, maintenance, and fault response. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you’ll lead a team dedicated to delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes.

In this dynamic role, you’ll ensure the timely and cost-effective completion of projects while prioritising health and safety and promoting excellent customer relations. From supervising control room operations to managing after-hours fault response systems, you’ll thrive in an environment where your leadership and technical expertise will make a tangible impact. We’re looking for a qualified Line Mechanic or Electrician with extensive knowledge of industry safety practices and current electricity regulations. Essential Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

• Registered Line Mechanic or Electrician.
• Current Practising Licence.
• Drivers Licence Class 1 and preferably Class 2.
• Experience in distribution system operations and contracting.
• Experience working with network system procedures.
• Extensive knowledge of industry safety practices.
• Extensive knowledge of the current Electricity Regulations and Codes of Practice.

• Experience working in a distribution control room.
