We are one of the leading ISP of New Zealand and currently looking for an expansion and need experienced District sales manager .

Pay rate: $33 an hour to $36 an hour

Duration: Full time and permanent

Positions -1

Minimum guaranteed hours: 32 hours per week

Location: 3/3 Cunard street , New Lynn Auckland

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the sales teams on a day-to-day basis.

Complete regular sales reviews with your teams to ensure sales targets are achieved.

Develop a marketing plan and sales strategy for your territory, to maximize on sales and to improve profitability.

Implement campaign sales strategies designed to increase sales from existing customers and promoting to as many customers possible, generating leads and sales thereby capturing and raising market share. Analysis of effectiveness of sales promotions, programs or campaigns after completion.

Report information to senior management highlighting areas for improvement and those of concern and opportunity.

Recommend and implement changes to business processes. Work on growing the brand awareness.

Provide weekly financial reports (sales achieved, expenses etc) to senior management.

Ensure all customers receive outstanding customer service.

Analyse trends in customer complaints. Provide feedback to team members and agree performance action plan to ensure complaints are minimized.

Review customer satisfaction surveys and where required provide feedback to teams and individual team members.

Lead the process of hiring new sales staff, including placing ads and interviewing.

Performing checks on the team to ensure they are operating appropriately, undertaking customer reviews and obtaining feedback to ensure the sales reps have explained the products correctly and that company policies and procedures are being applied.

Provide training for new team members and where necessary establish performance action plan for under-performing team members.

Develop teams and individual team member skills, to maximize their sales potential. For example, refine sales techniques and brand knowledge.

Improving the efficiency and profitability of the territory by creating a budget plan for the team. Control team finances to meet budgeted guidelines.

Researching new sales promotional tools to sharpen the current sales arsenal to gain a competitive advantage over the competition and create a better brand image in the market.

Experience and qualification required:

Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Management /Sales and Marketing. At least 5 years of relevant work experience may substitute the formal qualification.

Direct Sales / relevant work experience preferred.

  • Rotating roster
  • Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:
