Job Summary: The Dive Service Officer (DSO) is responsible for overseeing, operating, maintaining, collecting data, and reporting on dive operations and associated systems to support subsea tasks such as inspection, maintenance, and construction in offshore environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily dive operations to ensure efficient workflow and smooth execution.
- Monitor and optimize operational processes to improve productivity and meet operational goals.
- Coordinate and communicate across departments to ensure seamless integration of tasks.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve business objectives and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Manage dive-related projects from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with various operations teams to maintain effective working relationships and operational success.
- Pay close attention to detail, while handling multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently.
- Maintain knowledge and awareness of marine operations and boat inspections.
Requirements:
- Minimum 'O' level education or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Marine-related background and knowledge are a plus.
- Must be physically fit to work offshore and at sea.
- Ability to work in challenging offshore environments and adapt to changing conditions.
Skills:
- Strong workflow management skills to ensure smooth operations.
- Vendor management capabilities to liaise effectively with third-party suppliers and contractors.
- Excellent communication skills for efficient cross-departmental collaboration and client interaction.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
- Ability to work in a team environment while maintaining individual responsibilities.
- Training will be provided to candidates without prior experience in dive operations.
