Your role
- Conduct research and prepare a doctoral thesis in epigenetic control of neuronal identity
- Carry out cell culture experiments (incl. epigenome editing) with iPS cells and differentiated neurons
- Perform functional genomics experiments (also at single cell level) and contribute to their computational analysis
- Communicate research results in international conferences and journals
- Work constructively towards collectively defined research goals together with colleagues and collaborators
- Contribute to the teaching activities at the University of Luxembourg

Your profile
- A master’s degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, bioinformatics, or related discipline
- Experience in experimental lab work and cell culture. Previous experience in epigenetic analysis will be an asset
- Strong interest in bioinformatics and computational analysis will be an advantage
- Self-motivated, strong commitment, and ability to work in a team
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory
