Role and salary

This call for applications pertains to doctoral researcher positions in the Doctoral Programme of the Faculty of Health Sciences.

The Doctoral Programme of the Faculty of Health Sciences offers a multidisciplinary and high-quality research environment for the study of health, disease, and wellbeing. The doctoral programme includes both basic and applied research focusing on major public health diseases and their risk factors, as well as on disease prevention, early detection, and treatment. Research topics cover a broad spectrum from molecular-level mechanisms to effective, personalised, and prevention-oriented solutions, with the overall aim of promoting lifelong health (web page).

The duties of a Doctoral Researcher include conducting doctoral research in accordance with their approved research plan. The aim is to complete the doctoral degree in 3–4 years of full-time study.

In this call, you can apply for:

  • a full-time doctoral researcher position for a fixed term of at least six (6) months and at most three (3) years.
