Role:

We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to manage and maintain project documentation across two active construction sites. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of BCAR compliance and experience working within fast-paced construction environments.

This role is critical in ensuring all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Document Management

  • Maintain and manage all project documentation across both sites.
  • Ensure accurate filing, version control, and distribution of documents.
  • Implement and manage document control systems (e.g.Procore, ).

BCAR Compliance

  • Support the implementation and administration of Building Control (Amendment) Regulations (BCAR) documentation.
  • Maintain records for:
  • Inspection Plans
  • Inspection Records
  • Certificates of Compliance (Design & Completion)
  • Liaise with Assigned Certifier, Design Certifier, and project stakeholders to ensure compliance.

Coordination & Communication

  • Act as the central point for document flow between:
  • Site teams
  • Consultants
  • Subcontractors
  • Main contractor head office
  • Track RFIs, submittals, and approvals across both sites.
  • Ensure timely distribution of updated documents to relevant stakeholders.

Quality & ISO Compliance

  • Maintain documentation in line with quality management systems based on
  • International Organization for Standardization ISO 9001 standards.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Ensure all records are accurate, traceable, and audit-ready at all times.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in a Document Controller role within construction.
  • Strong working knowledge of Irish construction projects and BCAR regulations.
  • Experience managing documentation across multiple sites/projects is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €27,000.00-€35,000.00 per year
