Job Summary: The RFP Documentation Specialist will be responsible for end-to-end management of technical and commercial documentation related to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Expressions of Interest (EOIs) and Tenders. The role involves liaising with internal teams to collate, draft, format, review and deliver high-quality and compliant proposal documentation. Required Skills (Technical + Functional): • Proven experience in RFP/tender documentation, government bidding, or enterprise proposal writing • Develop, review, and update technical documents including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user manuals, policies, and process documentation. • Ensure all documentation meets organizational quality standards, compliance norms, and client requirements. • Strong document formatting, version control, and proofreading skills • Ability to interpret and align technical inputs to RFP requirements • Train teams on documentation standards, when required. • Create and maintain templates, knowledge of compliance matrices and checklists Desired Skills (Good to Have): • Familiarity with defense/public sector RFP terminology • Ability to write executive summaries and value propositions • Strong time management and ability to work under strict submission timelines is crucial • Knowledge of GeM, eProcurement portals, or defense bidding portals is a plus • Familiarity with tools such as MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, or documentation management systems. Educational Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Engineering, or a related field. • Strong command of written English with excellent grammar, formatting, and presentation skills. Years of Experience: 2-5 years
