Dog Bather/Kennel Tech

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Tech to join our team and provide high-quality care to our furry friends. As a Kennel Tech, you will make sure the dogs that are here for playtime or boarding are walked and playing in a clean enviroment. This is a hands-on position that requires a genuine passion for animal care and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

SCHEDULE:

Monday - Friday: 10:30am - 6:30pm

NO NIGHTS OR WEEKENDS

Responsibilities:

- Clean and bathe pets according to their specific needs and breed requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized kennel environment
- Perform heavy lifting and move equipment and supplies as required
- Provide excellent customer service to pet owners and communicate effectively with clients
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to management
- Follow proper sanitation and hygiene practices to prevent the spread of disease

-Walk dogs on a regular schedule

- Feeding and medication as needed for the dogs.

- For this particular position, it is important to be flexible with your hours as this position will need to be able to cover other shifts as they become available.

Experience:
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in animal care and/or a passion for providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience working with pets, including dog handling, pet sitting, and dog training. Additionally, the ability to lift heavy equipment and supplies is essential for this role. A commitment to learning and staying up-to-date with the latest pet care techniques is also important.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00 per hour
