Dog Spot was opened up by our Owner Victoria in June of 2021(Our 4 year is coming up JUNE 2025!)

Our Motto is "We love them just like you do!" Because we literally do! And I expect anyone coming onto the team to treat them as such.

We are very well established in the community. We have developed strong relationships with our clients. We offer Dog Daycare, Overnight Boarding and Grooming services.

We are female only staffed at the moment.

Victoria our Owner, Ashley-Manager and Amber our groomer! Cannot wait to add to the team!

SHIFTS AVAILABLE: 30 hours or less 4 days a week MUST WORK HOLIDAYS

6am-12pm(NOON)

11am-5pm

4pm-10pm

Our work environment includes:

-Lots of dogssss

-Chaotic and loud at times but overall a fun loving place to be!(Ear plugs will be available upon request)

-WE ARE A ZERO TOLERANCE FACILITY FOR DRAMA!!! We understand you have an outside life but try to leave it at the door. Come in and enjoy work!

-Must be comfortable with 20-25 dogs at a time. Holidays we have more than 35 dogs in the facility

MUST BE 21 YEARS OR OLDER

JOB DESCRIPTION

**Duties:**

- Supervise and monitor dogs in a group play environment

- Provide basic care such as feeding, watering, and administering medications if needed

-Must be able to clean/disinfect all boarding and play areas multiple times per day

- Engage in playtime activities with the dogs

- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the dogs

- Assist with bathing and grooming as required(bathing/nail trimming/ear cleaning)

- Monitor dog behavior and intervene when necessary

-Must be able to handle dogs well on leash and in carriers

-You are responsible for these pups at the end of the day. Their lives are in your hands! Must understand that.

-Really need someone who is not afraid to get their hands/clothes/shoes dirty.

**Skills:**

- Experience in animal care or related field preferred

- Knowledge of dog behavior and body language preferred

- Ability to handle various breeds and temperaments of dogs preferred

- Strong customer service skills REQUIRED

- Basic understanding of animal health and wellness REQUIRED

- Certification or training in any of the following areas is a plus: Preferred

- Kennel management

- Veterinary assistant

- Animal restraint techniques

- Pet grooming

- Veterinary technician skills
