We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering top-notch grooming services to our clients. This role requires strong animal handling skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, nail trimming/filing and styling of pets according to breed standards and client preferences.
• Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin, identifying any issues that may require veterinary attention.
• Handle animals safely and effectively, employing proper restraint techniques as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
• Communicate with pet owners about their pets’ grooming needs and any concerns observed during grooming sessions.
• Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their questions or concerns regarding pet care.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in pet grooming is required; certification in pet grooming is a plus.
• Strong dog handling skills with experience in animal care
• Familiarity with various breeds and their specific grooming requirements.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling large dogs or equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
