What Does the Job Require (Job Description)?

Bozeman Dog Company is looking for a skilled, trustworthy, dog-loving groomer to join our upbeat and pet-obsessed team. This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule that grows as you grow your client base. You'll be hands-on with pups, handling everything from baths and nail trims to full breed-specific cuts and teeth cleanings. You'll also help clients feel heard and cared for while making every dog look and feel their best. No clock-punching micromanagement here, you’ll own your calendar, set your hours, and enjoy the autonomy you deserve, all while using MoeGo for scheduling and payments.

What Work Schedule Is Required?

This is a flexible, part-time position that can scale to full-time as your client base grows. You set your availability and we fill your schedule based on demand. Our summers are packed, winters are quieter. Expect to have full control over your hours, with the occasional opportunity to fill in for store shifts if desired.

Bozeman Dog Company is a locally owned pet supply store that offers dog training, grooming, and is the local base for Invisible Fence. We’re obsessed with keeping dogs safe, happy, and healthy, and we’re growing fast. Our team is tight-knit, helpful, and all-in on giving pets (and pet parents) an awesome experience.

Work Location:

You’ll be working at our cozy and clean Bozeman storefront, built for both comfort and functionality. If you love dogs, upbeat energy, and being part of a tight community, you’ll feel right at home here.

Education Requirements / Skill:

Formal degrees not required, but grooming experience is a must. You’ll need to be proficient in breed-specific cuts, nail trims, teeth cleaning, and identifying potential skin or health issues during grooming. Must be self-motivated, friendly, professional, and committed to quality work and customer service.

You keep 100% of tips. You get paid on commission (generally 50% of grooming gross). You’ll also get an employee discount, and all the tools you need to succeed. Plus, your schedule is as flexible as you make it, and your earning potential is only limited by how much you want to work.
