IIIT Kottayam is hiring an experienced Embedded Hardware Engineer for a sponsored research project focused on biomedical device development. This role involves complete product lifecycle ownership, from design to deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded hardware systems
- PCB design, schematic development, and testing
- Lead end-to-end product development (concept to deployment)
- Collaborate with firmware and system teams
- Ensure reliability, safety, and performance of hardware systems
Required Qualifications
- B.Tech/M.Tech in ECE, EEE, VLSI, Embedded Systems, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Strong experience in PCB design and hardware development
- Experience in complete product design lifecycle
Preferred Skills
- Experience in biomedical device/product design
- Knowledge of testing, validation, and compliance
- Entrepreneurial or product-building experience
Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month

- Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
- Embedded system hardware design: 5 years (Preferred)
