IIIT Kottayam is hiring an experienced Embedded Hardware Engineer for a sponsored research project focused on biomedical device development. This role involves complete product lifecycle ownership, from design to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded hardware systems
• PCB design, schematic development, and testing
• Lead end-to-end product development (concept to deployment)
• Collaborate with firmware and system teams
• Ensure reliability, safety, and performance of hardware systems

Required Qualifications

• B.Tech/M.Tech in ECE, EEE, VLSI, Embedded Systems, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong experience in PCB design and hardware development
• Experience in complete product design lifecycle

Preferred Skills

• Experience in biomedical device/product design
• Knowledge of testing, validation, and compliance
• Entrepreneurial or product-building experience

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
