About the Role

We are seeking reliable, caring, and enthusiastic Domestic Staff to join our team. This is an important frontline support role, helping to provide a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment for patients while assisting with meal services on the ward.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve breakfast to patients.
• Assist with the preparation and serving of meals and refreshments.
• Clear meal trays and maintain a clean dining and ward environment.
• Clean and maintain ward kitchens and food preparation areas in line with HSE hygiene standards.
• Wash and store crockery, cutlery, and kitchen equipment.
• Restock kitchen supplies and ensure food service areas are well maintained.
• Carry out general domestic duties within the ward and kitchen.
• Engage positively with patients, offering friendly conversation and excellent customer care while respecting their dignity and privacy.
• Follow all HSE policies relating to food safety, infection prevention and control, and health and safety.

Please note: This role does not involve cooking or food preparation from scratch.

Pay: €16.92 per hour
