Activated Automatic Door Systems Ltd has been serving the lower mainland with pride for the past thirty years. We service and repair all makes and models of pedestrian entrances in Metro Vancouver and the lower mainland. Our commitment to quality and safety sets us apart from other service providers and is why we have been able to maintain such a loyal customer base.
We are looking for a full-time door technician for service calls and installations.
Our hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday, and a rotating schedule for on-call emergency weekend shifts.
Familiarity with make and models of automatic door equipment is an asset.
Training is provided by Activated Doors.
Our Ideal Candidate has the following qualities:
- Self-motivated, hardworking, and can-do attitude
- Installing and servicing automatic doors - residential, commercial, industrial, motors, controls
- Use of hand tools and power tools
- Works well in a team environment
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills - every door and site is different
- Mechanical or electrical experience an asset
- Excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license
- Electrical training an asset
- AADAMS certification desirable
Competitive wages, full benefits, tools provided, truck provided for the right candidate, some travel may be required. Experience in our industry is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate with the right attitude.
