Doors Production Site Supervisor

What a day look like as a Doors Assembler:

• Day to day quality requirements control on production
• Control of daily shift work on production orders priority list
• Provide on daily basis information on out-of-date PO
• Notify manufacturers and Doors Production Manager of faulty goods and materials
• Work closely with the Doors Production Manager for enhancing the quality
• Take part at inventory process on periodical basis
• Provide data for suppliers’ evaluation process – cost optimization / delivery (lead time) optimization, its materials quality
• Provide information on production staff needs
• Day to day safety requirements control on production
• Safety meetings conducting on weekly basis
• Ensure materials economical usage by shift workers
• Ensures production team has access to all relevant raw materials and equipment – ensure the smooth running of production
• Meet daily production targets for doors assembling units
• Follow standard operating procedure to assemble doors within prescribed standard assembly time
• Track all products that are required to complete the job build
• Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned
• Ensure operations are completed daily and to standard

REQUIREMENTS:

• Live in greater Edmonton area or be willing to relocate
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Leadership experience an asset
• Ability to complete a high volume of work within deadlines
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, a diplomatic demeanor, and an energetic, self-motivated ambitious
• Responsible and punctual
• Manage deadlines and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
