Dipped Donuts Inc is a local gourmet donut company. We are currently looking for an overnight dough maker with experience. If you have a creative mind and would like a chance to express your ideas an expertise, we welcome you to apply!

We are looking for Full Time to fulfill this role. Pay will start at an hourly basis for the first 4 months and then switch to salary

Job Specs:

• Overnight - however we are working on possibly trying a day prep.
• Making brioche style dough and vegan dough, rising, proofing, cutting and frying.
• Understanding temperature control and adjusting the quantities in the dough accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and mix ingredients to create dough for a variety of baked products.
• Ensure all dough is made according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Monitor the fermentation and proofing processes to achieve optimal texture and flavor.
• Package finished goods for sale, ensuring proper labeling and storage.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to food safety protocols.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient production flow.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or during catering events.

Skills

• Proficient in baking techniques and food preparation methods.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and handling procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment with strong communication skills.
• Culinary experience with a background in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 44 per week

Experience:

• Dough: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Food Handler Certification (required)

Work Location: In person
