Steelmaking Coal
Steelmaking coal is an essential ingredient in blast-furnace steel manufacture, producing steel used for critical building and infrastructure around the world. In Australia, we operate two open cut and three underground Steelmaking coal mines in Queensland’s Bowen Basin, every year producing millions of tonnes of the highest quality hard coking coal for this purpose.
Job Description
-We would like to invite applications from experienced Dragline Operators to join our Dawson Operation in Moura, QLD.
The Dawson operation is a large open-cut coal mining operation showing no signs of slowing down!
You will work as part of a team operating our BE1370 & Marion 8200 Draglines to produce Steelmaking Coal whilst demonstrating safe working behaviours and practices to achieve set targets.
- -Be an experienced dragline operator with dozer skills
- Demonstrated knowledge in dragline set up, operations and dig methods
- Provide proof of your operating experience
- Display excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Be a team player with a safety first mindset
