About the Role

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Junior Drainage Engineer / Drainage Technician to join our team. This is an entry-level position with full on-site training provided. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced engineers carrying out drainage inspections, maintenance, and repair works across residential, commercial, and industrial sites.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the drainage and utilities sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with drainage surveys, inspections, and maintenance works
  • Support jetting and cleaning of drainage systems
  • Operate CCTV drainage equipment (training provided)
  • Assist with identifying blockages and defects within drainage networks
  • Follow all health & safety procedures on-site
  • Complete job reports and documentation accurately
  • Work as part of a team on various site locations

Requirements

  • Valid Safe Pass
  • Valid Manual Handling Certificate
  • Full, clean driving licence (preferred)
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work outdoors and in physically demanding environments

Desirable (Not Essential)

  • Previous experience in drainage works
  • Experience with high-pressure water jetting
  • Experience operating CCTV survey equipment
  • Construction or utilities site experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €14.15-€17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dublin, County Dublin: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

  • CCTV or Jetting: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Manual Handling Certificate (preferred)
  • Driving Licence (preferred)
  • Safepass Card (preferred)
