As a Drama / Acting Teacher for Main Stages, you'll typically work with three age groups across the day: Ages 6–9, Ages 10–12, Ages 12-14. These groups rotate between singing, dancing, and drama classes in small ensemble sizes. As the drama teacher, you’ll work from your own room, receiving each group for their dedicated drama session.
Each class should blend skill-building with creativity—ranging from improvisation games and script work to devising scenes and preparing for showcases or musical theatre productions.
Lessons are planned in advance and aligned with term themes or performance goals, with plenty of room for your own creativity and professional style.
You'll be part of a supportive teaching team, all working together to create a safe, structured, and joyful performing arts experience.
