Oaky Creek Coal is looking for a driven individual who demonstrates high levels of organisation and attention to detail. Reporting to the Gas and Drilling Superintendent, as the Surface Drilling and Gas Drainage Coordinator you will be responsible for effectively coordinating, managing and overseeing surface drilling activities and gas drainage installation operations.
With efficiency as a priority, you will be required to effectively plan and communicate with multiple stakeholders across both underground and surface operations. You will be responsible for managing multiple work groups, drill rigs and gas drainage installation crews to deliver services required for the safety of underground production and operations.
The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader with proven supervisory experience. Your role will entail the management and supervision of contractors. You will develop strong working relationships with their peers and have a demonstrated ability to motivate and influence your team.
Ideally, you will have a degree in Engineering, or similar. Previous experience interpreting Coal Mining Legislation, Acts and Codes in also highly beneficial.

This is a 7/7 rostered position, with the inclusion of FIFO.
