Duties

• Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles, including manual transmission models, to complete scheduled deliveries and pickups.
• Load and unload cargo efficiently using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring items are secured properly for transit.
• Navigate route driving with precision, adhering to traffic laws and company policies to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Provide outstanding customer service by engaging professionally with clients during drop-offs and pickups, addressing questions or concerns courteously.
• Assist with warehouse activities including moving inventory, organizing shipments, and maintaining accurate delivery documentation.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all aspects of loading, unloading, driving, and warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Experience with warehouse operations, including heavy lifting and moving inventory safely.
• Familiarity with forklift operation, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable.
• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type; a <PERSON> driver’s license is preferred.
• Knowledge of route planning and navigation tools to optimize delivery efficiency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 44 per week
