Role highlights:
Driver
Location: Espoo, Finland
Department: Global Manufacturing Organization
Reports to: Logistics Manager
Employment type: Permanent
Workplace model: On-site
Employment is subject to applicable security screening (incl. SUPO, where required)
Why this role matters:
As a Driver, your work directly supports the manufacturing and delivery of spacecraft that monitor our planet in near real time. You will be responsible for the safe and timely transport of goods and materials to and from our facilities, and you will support our daily inbound process by helping receive incoming goods. Reliable transport and smooth receiving of materials keep our production lines running on schedule, so this is a role where dependability and attention to detail make a direct difference.
This is a new position, and as ICEYE continues to grow, the scope of the role is expected to evolve. You will have the opportunity to shape it as our logistics and warehouse operations scale, taking on new responsibilities along the way. If you want your driving and logistics skills to help put satellites into orbit, this is where you do it.
Who We Are
ICEYE is the world leader in sovereign intelligence from space. We deliver persistent monitoring capabilities to detect and respond to changes in any location on Earth.
ICEYE owns the world's largest and most advanced SAR (synthetic aperture radar) satellite constellation. To our customers we provide intelligence with unmatched quality, latency and revisit times, in any weather, day or night. To governments who choose to operate their own constellation we provide this proven capability as a sovereign system.
ICEYE-built constellations serve customers in defence and intelligence, environmental monitoring, insurance and emergency management. We enable fast decisions that contribute to a safer future.
Founded and headquartered in Finland, ICEYE operates globally with over 1000 employees across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
Your day-to-day responsibilities
Safely drive and operate company vehicles (category C) to transport goods, materials, and components between ICEYE sites and external partners.
Support the daily inbound process by receiving incoming goods, checking deliveries against documentation, and handing them over to the warehouse team.
Assist with the handling, unloading, and internal movement of materials and components, including sensitive and high value aerospace parts, in line with quality and safety standards.
Help keep the warehouse and loading areas organised, tidy, and safe.
Operate a forklift to move goods within the warehouse, where required and licenced.
Carry out routine checks on vehicles and report any maintenance needs.
Follow all relevant road safety, transport, and workplace safety regulations.
Work closely with the logistics and warehouse team to support the broader flow of materials across the manufacturing site.
Take on additional logistics and warehouse tasks as the role and team grow, contributing ideas for improving daily operations.
