Description:

DPD Ireland is seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for efficiently delivering parcels to customers' doorsteps, ensuring each package arrives safely and on time. This role involves a high level of customer interaction, and you will be the face of our company in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver parcels to residential and commercial customers according to designated routes and schedules.
• Load and unload parcels from the delivery vehicle efficiently and safely.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Obtain signatures or other delivery confirmations as required.
• Maintain and operate the delivery vehicle according to company standards, ensuring it is clean, fueled, and in good working condition.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, including time logs and delivery confirmations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to resolve any delivery issues.
• Assist with sorting and organizing parcels at the depot when needed.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.

Qualifications:

• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous delivery or driving experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 30kg
• Familiarity with GPS devices and route-planning tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Pay: From €13.10 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 48 per week
