Position Overview

The Driver picks up aircraft components and delivers to the workshop in a timely manner to ensure work flow is not interrupted and then serviceable units are returned promptly to customers.

General Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver of components on and off the airport, freight forwarders or other locations.
  
• Hook and unhook trailers; secure freight; install and remove tire chains as required by weather, tarp and un-tarp freight if operating flat beds.
  
• Administration including, completing serviceable and unserviceable labels, pickup and delivery books, temporary WO’s, vehicle logs.
  
• Load and unload trailers and perform lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying freight.
  
• General maintenance and care of vehicles.
  
• Ensure that all operations are in compliance with local and country regulations.
  
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License or CDL-A (required).
  
• Driving experience.
  
• Experience driving a 53’ tractor/trailer.
• Meet all standards (medical, safety, etc…) required.
  
• Knowledge of applicable Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• A general knowledge and comprehension of all applicable rules / regulations for driving on airport.
  
• Excellent communication skills.
