Position Overview
The Driver picks up aircraft components and delivers to the workshop in a timely manner to ensure work flow is not interrupted and then serviceable units are returned promptly to customers.
General Responsibilities

Pick up and deliver of components on and off the airport, freight forwarders or other locations.
- Hook and unhook trailers; secure freight; install and remove tire chains as required by weather, tarp and un-tarp freight if operating flat beds.
- Administration including, completing serviceable and unserviceable labels, pickup and delivery books, temporary WO’s, vehicle logs.
- Load and unload trailers and perform lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying freight.
- General maintenance and care of vehicles.
- Ensure that all operations are in compliance with local and country regulations.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
Valid Driver’s License or CDL-A (required).
- Driving experience.
- Experience driving a 53’ tractor/trailer.
- Meet all standards (medical, safety, etc…) required.
- Knowledge of applicable Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- A general knowledge and comprehension of all applicable rules / regulations for driving on airport.
- Excellent communication skills.
