We are seeking a Driver to join the Cedar Manor Care Homelocated in Tauranga. This is a casual role, hence, there are no guaranteed weekly hours. It will be as per the requirement at the care home. The preferred candidate must be able to pick up available shifts.
Where You Will Make an Impact
- Drive residents around for GP appointments, supermarket shopping, and other planned activities.
- Maintain the safety of residents at all times.
- Abide by driving safety rules and regulations as per the road code.
- Assist with loading residents safely into the Bupa van including usage of van hoists.
- Show a caring and considerate attitude to residents, visitors, and other staff.
What About You
- Previous experience working as a driver.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, enthusiasm, strong empathy, and a passion for making a difference to our residents’ lives.
- You will be a team player, with the ability to work independently, and who is prepared to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into whatever needs to get done.
- A full Drivers Licence is essential. Must be current, clean, and free of endorsements.
- A current First Aid certificate is essential.
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in NZ.
