We are looking for wonderful people who have a range of skills for a job that is unlike others. You need to be a truly positive person to be the face of our business while delivering and installing a wide range of hire equipment to our lovely customers. You will be loading, driving & unloading the equipment yourself in a wide variety of locations from Mines to car parks to old warehouses and even tower blocks, in fact anywhere that people want to film at, we go to.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and excellent driving skills, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of equipment. This role is crucial in maintaining our high standards of service and customer satisfaction.

Duties

  • Operate a 7.5 tonne Beavertail vehicle for the delivery of equipment to various locations, often using a winch to get the equipment on and off.
  • Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with company policies.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
  • Load and unload equipment, ensuring they are secured properly for transport.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered on site.
  • Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies while driving.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
  • Install / set up & De-rgg equipment on site in line with the training provided, always ensuring the customer receives the best customer service at all times.

Skills

  • Valid UK driving licence with the appropriate category for 7.5 tonne vehicles.
  • Strong knowledge of road safety regulations.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and team members.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times.

We have two positions available on different working patterns:

3pm - 12 midnight Monday - Friday

or

Week of Earlies 5am - 2pm followed by a week of lates 3pm - 12 midnight (Monday - Friday)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £29,500.00 per year
