We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver/Hauler to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, trailers and heavy equipment to transport freight, materials, and equipment efficiently across designated routes. Duties

• Operate a range of trucks including Heavy Duty, dump trucks, flatbeds and roll-off trucks to transport freight and materials.
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual methods, ensuring secure handling of goods.
• Drive on designated routes, adhering strictly to traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure timely deliveries.
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips for mechanical issues or safety concerns; perform routine maintenance checks.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, and route documentation for compliance and reporting purposes.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules.
• Follow all safety protocols related to transporting specialized freight.

Skills

• Proven experience in truck driving, including rolls offs, dump trucks or heavy-duty trucks.
• Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles and specialized equipment such as forklifts, excavators, skid steers.
• Knowledge of different truck types including flatbeds, dump trucks and roll-off trucks.
• Strong understanding of route driving strategies to optimize efficiency and delivery times.
• Ability to load & unload freight safely and securely using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
• Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and perform manual tasks related to loading/unloading cargo.
• English and Spanish speaking
