Driver/Mover

Woodrose Woodworking is currently seeking an individual to assist with award winning millwork projects, who will be involved with the shipping, delivering and moving of our products to commercial construction sites throughout the lower mainland.

Requirements

- Ability to safely drive a 5 ton cube truck

- Be reliable and professional while in the shop, on job sites and in public

- A valid driver’s license

- A clean drivers abstract to be provided

- Strong English communication skills

- A current Basic First Aid certificate, may be considered if in the process of obtaining

- Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 100+ lbs on a consistent basis

- Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time

- Ability to climb stairs on a daily basis

- Good knowledge of the greater Vancouver area an asset

- Willingness and availability to work overtime, including possible occasional weekend shift

- Willingness to work in teams / collaboratively with other drivers/team members

- Willingness to use company software

Job Duties

- Complete daily pre-trip vehicle inspection

- Driver company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from job sites

- Careful and efficient handling of finished materials and products

- Efficiently load/unload truck without damage to items or surroundings

- Carefully wrap, pack, and prep millwork material, products and equipment needed for deliveries

- Preform warehouse and shop duties as needed

- Carry out other related tasks as assigned

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
