Driver/Receiver/Material Handler

Legendary Group is a leader in prefabricated timber frame home construction and is looking to grow its team. Our innovative approach to custom-built prefab homes combines the best of conventional building methods with a prefabricated panelized building system and post and beam construction. We are looking for someone reliable and hardworking to assist our prefab team.

We currently have an opening for a Driver/Shipper Receiver/Material Handler. We are looking for a reliable team player who is looking for a long-term career and is willing to be an integral part of the production and installation teams, ensuring we deliver a quality product to our customers.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Load and unload materials with a Forklift or Telehandler.
• Delivery of Products within a 3hr radius of Collingwood.
• Sort and organize inventory/ material.
• Safe operation of commercial flat deck delivery vehicles.
• Load and secure prefab panels for delivery.
• Perform truck inspections and maintenance.
• Yard and inventory management.
• Loading, securing, and delivering home packages.
• Shipping and receiving materials.
• Material handling in shop and yard.
• Follow safety rules and regulations while maintaining a safe and clean environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Restricted Class A license or DZ.
• Telescopic forklift license/certificate (willing to train).
• Experience handling a 5-Ton truck with a 24' trailer.
• Have Shipping/Receiving experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Be physically capable of heavy lifting.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong work ethic with an attention to detail and deadlines.
• Customer-focused.
• A good driving record is required.
