Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and patient Driving Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive driving lessons to students of various skill levels, ensuring they develop safe and confident driving habits. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on learners by guiding them through the fundamentals of driving and preparing them for their driving exams. The Driving Instructor will work closely with students in both classroom and practical settings, fostering a supportive learning environment. **This is a position we're searching on behalf of different driving schools.

Duties

• Conduct engaging and informative driving lessons tailored to individual student needs
• Teach traffic laws, safety procedures, and vehicle operation techniques
• Prepare students for written and practical driving tests by reviewing key concepts and skills
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve their driving abilities
• Maintain accurate records of lessons, assessments, and student progress
• Ensure all lessons are conducted in compliance with local traffic regulations and safety standards
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages questions, confidence, and skill development

Qualifications

• Prior experience in tutoring or teaching is preferred, especially in classroom or driver education settings
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey instructions and safety information
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with students of diverse backgrounds
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Licensed driving instructor
• Ownership of a vehicle with commercial 6D insurance
• Licensed to work in city of Toronto
• Knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices
• Ability to remain patient, attentive, and encouraging throughout lessons
