As we expand, we are seeking a technically capable Support & Aftersales Technician to ensure our clients operate safely, efficiently and with minimal downtime.
The Role
You will be responsible for post-sale technical support, setup, troubleshooting and ongoing client assistance across enterprise drone platforms.
This is a hands-on technical role suited to someone comfortable working with hardware, firmware, software platforms and field deployments.
You will interact directly with commercial clients and represent Mirrormapper’s technical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Firmware updates and system configuration
- Account activation and platform linking
- Sensor calibration and hardware checks
- Controller and app configuration
- Integration with cloud platforms
Aftersales Support
- Phone and email technical support
- Remote troubleshooting
- Fault diagnosis and resolution
- Warranty assessment and supplier liaison
- Maintenance scheduling
Field Support (as required)
- On-site commissioning
- Dock installations
- Client training sessions
- Operational troubleshooting
Documentation & Systems
- Log all support cases in CRM
- Develop knowledge base documentation
- Maintain internal troubleshooting guides
- Provide feedback to sales and management on recurring issues
Platforms You May Work With
- DJI Enterprise platforms (Matrice series, thermal, RTK systems)
- Agricultural spray drones (Agras series)
- Dock-based remote operations infrastructure
- Mapping and photogrammetry software
- GIS integration tools
- AI-enabled inspection workflows
Experience with enterprise DJI systems is highly regarded.
Ideal Candidate Profile
You may be a strong fit if you have:
- Experience in drone operations or UAV technical support
- Background in electronics, aviation, IT, robotics or mechatronics
- Strong troubleshooting mindset
- Comfortable working with firmware and software platforms
- Ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients
- Strong documentation discipline
Desirable:
- CASA RePL or operational drone experience
- Experience with RTK, GNSS or mapping workflows
- Electrical or mechanical aptitude
- Experience supporting industrial equipment
