Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Drywall Boarders & Tapers-Subcontractors to join our construction team. This role involves installing and finishing drywall in commercial and residential projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in construction, carpentry, and finishing techniques, with the ability to read blueprints and work independently or as part of a team. Duties

• Measure, cut, and install drywall panels according to project specifications and blueprints
• Tape, mud, and finish drywall seams for smooth surfaces ready for painting or further finishing
• Apply caulking and sealants around joints and fixtures to ensure airtight and water-resistant finishes
• Prepare surfaces by sanding, patching, and priming as needed before painting or finishing
• Read blueprints and technical drawings to accurately execute installation plans
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and debris removal throughout the job site
• Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries on-site

Qualifications

• Proven experience in drywall installation, taping, and finishing with a strong understanding of construction practices
• Handyman experience is a plus for handling various tasks efficiently on-site
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
• Reliable transportation and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Commitment to safety standards and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
