Are you a talented and versatile drywaller with exceptional painting and carpentry skills? We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a Restoration Technician. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your craftsmanship and contribute to transforming spaces in the GTA and Cottage Country.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform drywall installation, taping, mudding, and finishing with precision and attention to detail.
- Execute painting projects ensuring smooth surfaces
- Utilize carpentry skills to install, repair, or replace trim, molding, doors, and windows as required.
- Prepare surfaces for painting or drywall installation, including sanding, priming, and patching.
- Collaborate with team members and contractors to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Evaluate project requirements, materials, and measurements accurately for cost estimation and ordering.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience in drywall installation, finishing, and repair.
- Proficient in painting techniques and color mixing with an eye for detail.
- Solid carpentry skills, including trim installation, molding, door/window repairs, and general woodworking.
- Ability to operate relevant tools and equipment efficiently and safely.
- Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks and lift heavy materials when necessary.
- Attention to detail, precision, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $27.00-$32.00 per hour
