Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Drywall Metal Fixers / Dry Liners to join our construction team. The successful candidates will be responsible for installing metal framing systems, partitions, suspended ceilings and associated drywall systems in accordance with drawings, specifications and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Set out and install metal stud partition systems to drawings and specifications.
- Install metal track, studs, channels and framing systems.
- Construct internal and external drywall framing where required.
- Install suspended ceiling systems, MF ceilings and associated metal framing.
- Install plasterboard/drywall to metal framing using the appropriate fixing systems.
- Install acoustic, fire-rated and moisture-resistant systems where specified.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and setting-out information.
- Accurately measure, cut and install metal sections and plasterboard.
- Install door frames, access panels, service openings and other associated framing.
- Coordinate with electricians, plumbers, mechanical contractors and other trades to accommodate services.
- Ensure installations meet required fire, acoustic and thermal performance standards.
- Maintain accurate setting out and ensure work is completed to the required tolerances.
- Identify and report any design, material or site issues to the supervisor/foreman.
- Work safely and maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Follow company Health & Safety procedures, RAMS and site rules.
- Work efficiently to meet project programmes and agreed deadlines.
- Carry out remedial and snagging works where required.
Required Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a Drywall Metal Fixer, Dry Liner, Metal Stud Fixer or Ceiling Fixer.
- Good understanding of metal stud and drywall construction systems.
- Ability to read and work from construction drawings.
- Competent with hand and power tools.
- Good understanding of setting out and accurate measurements.
- Knowledge of fire-rated, acoustic and specialist drywall systems is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and quality of workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.
- Previous experience working on commercial, residential, pharmaceutical, data centre or large-scale construction projects is advantageous.
Pay: €16.00-€20.00 per hour
