We are seeking an experienced drywaller, who is looking for a career in disaster restoration. A qualified individual will be dedicated, hard working, organized, able to follow directions and make decisions, ability to learn quickly and ambition to advance in the company. Must be able to work as a team and individually. This is a full-time position. Typical hours are Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm. Disasters can happen at any time. Therefore, you may be required to work overtime if needed, and because we operate 24/7 you will be required to be on an on-call schedule that will include evenings, weekends, and holidays. The company offers competitive industry wages and benefits after 3 months. Must have Class 5 drivers license, clean drivers abstract and reliable transportation to our office each day. Company vehicle is provided during working hours Will be required to provide a driver’s abstract and a criminal background check.

Main Activities

· responding to on call emergencies

· tear out with rebuild in mind

· reconstruction of insulation, drywall, painting, baseboards, casing, cabinetry

· finishing work

· site preparation and site clean up

· assisting in vehicle inspections

· filling out paperwork. Ex: Timesheets, hazard assessments, consumables, etc.

· taking daily photos and submitting them to appropriate personnel

· training new employees

· signing in and out equipment

· signing in and out of inventory

· cleaning

· make sure vehicles are always stocked

· cleaning equipment

· ensuring equipment is in proper working order, getting repaired if needed

· promoting safety

· keeping certifications valid

· other tasks assigned by office personnel

· emergency work as required

Knowledge

The candidate must have proficient knowledge of the following areas:

· Fluent in English

· Class 5 Drivers Licence

· 2 years experience in construction
