We are seeking passionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with varying levels of neurodivergent and/or intellectual disabilities. As a Direct Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing mentoring assistance and support in daily living activities as well as ensuring the safety and well-being of clients and creating a positive and nurturing environment. DSPs assist individuals in becoming involved and connected within their community, providing tailored support based on their preferences.

The role is WEEKENDS ONLY and is located in Rye, NY.

This job is a good fit for someone who is active, responsible, and enjoys spending time with kids. The worker will help with fun activities like playing outside, visiting indoor gyms, and organizing letters, with weekday pickup from the local Y. The child has lots of energy and needs someone who can stay alert and keep him safe.

Shifts available:

• Saturday and/or Sunday: 11am-3pm

Skills:

• Mentor and assist clients in their daily living activities
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for all clients and staff
• Build positive relationships with clients and staff
• Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for assisting those in need
• Possesses a friendly disposition with a positive "can do" attitude
• Ability to work independently and consistently exercise good judgment

Qualifications:

• Caregiving experience required
• Experience working with individuals with behavioral challenges required
• Availability to work flexible hours
• Clean driver's licence

Required: Successful background check and fingerprinting
